NSW Future Greens Candidate Program - Path to 2027

Grow your leadership. Understand candidacy. Step toward 2027 with confidence.

Are you considering running as a Greens candidate in the 2027 NSW State Election or want to explore whether candidacy might be right for you?

The Future Greens Candidate Program: Pathway to 2027 is a free program designed to support NSW Greens members who want to understand what it takes to be a candidate, develop the skills needed for effective leadership, and explore their readiness in a supportive, values-driven environment.

This program is a structured pathway for future candidates to gain clarity, confidence, and connection ahead of the 2027 election cycle.

What You’ll Gain:

Across a series of interactive workshops, panels, and mentoring opportunities, participants will:

  • Learn the expectations, responsibilities, and realities of being a Greens candidate
  • Build practical campaign and leadership skills
  • Hear directly from experienced campaigners, MPs, and former candidates
  • Develop confidence in communications, personal narrative, and public presence
  • Understand NSW Greens’ internal processes, support structures, and campaign systems
  • Reflect on your personal readiness and areas for development
  • Connect with a supportive cohort of members also exploring the pathway to candidacy
  • Self-care and Anti-Burnout tools

You’ll leave with a clearer sense of whether you’re ready to step up as a candidate!
