My name is Jayden Rivera, and I am running as your Greens candidate for Campbelltown at the 2027 NSW State Election.
I have been a member of the Greens for almost 15 years and have previously contested both state and federal elections. In 2024 I ran in the Local Government Election and I was honoured to be elected to Campbelltown City Council alongside Tao Triebels, and in 2025 I was elected Deputy Mayor of Campbelltown.
Campbelltown is a diverse, growing and vibrant community, but too many people, our environment and our wildlife are being left behind by a political system that continues to prioritise corporate greed, developer interests and short-term politics over people and the environment.
Across our community, families are struggling with the cost-of-living crisis. Housing is becoming increasingly unaffordable, essential services are under pressure, and many people feel unheard by the major parties. At the same time, we are seeing ongoing damage to our natural environment, over-development and not enough being done to protect our endangered wildlife in the process.
I am running in this election because I believe Campbelltown deserves someone who will fight for a fairer, more sustainable future and who will advocate for our environment and wildlife.
The Greens have always stood for protecting our natural environment, expanding public and affordable housing, properly funding public education and healthcare, and building an economy that works for everyone.
As a councillor and Deputy Mayor, I have worked to strengthen our local community, advocate for environmental protections, and ensure local voices are heard in decision-making. I believe politics should be accountable, transparent, and focused on delivering real outcomes for ordinary people.
