Newcastle is incredible, full of grit and beauty - it's paradise.... but it needs investment in hospitals, public transport and real commitment to deliver public and social housing.

Generations of Novacastrians have lived together in this city, and that's under threat. With house prices still wildly unaffordable, people can’t buy a house in the neighborhood they grew up in. When young people are forced to move away from their parents, grandparents miss important moments and those essential family ties get severed.
Newcastle needs a representative that will step forward, and fight for services and infrastructure. Labor have long taken this electorate for granted, but people don't stomach ongoing neglect.
Labor failed to bring our buses back into public hands, our closest hospital is in crisis, the state significant approved developments have less and less social and affordable housing - breaking promises to deliver at least 30%. As coal export demand decreases, the only future Labor sees for our region is in weapons manufacturing, what a miserable vision.
We are being failed, over and over again.
It’s time for a real voice, someone who will speak up and advocate for what Newcastle needs. Newcastle has reinvented itself many times, and it's time again to nurture new industries, to bring forth a thriving regional powerhouse in the advanced economy, powering NSW into the future. But not just any future - we owe each other a commitment to build people centered systems that work for us and for our planet, and industry we can be proud of.
