Hey there, I’m Rose. I’m a Central Coast local who moved to the Coast 9 years ago with my family because we understand the incredible beauty and opportunity that this area holds.
I’m a criminology and sociology student and am incredibly passionate about understanding both why crime occurs and how we can prevent it, most notably gendered violence. As beautiful as the Coast is, we have the second highest number of domestic violence incidents in NSW and are overrepresented in Apprehended Domestic Violence Orders (ADVOs).
As more and more young people look for an alternative to far-right hateful and divisive rhetoric, which aims to fear-monger, I'm passionate to show there is a political choice that is kinder, works for social justice and environmental resilience - the Greens.
I’ve been involved in activism from a young age, organising with School Strike 4 Climate, and volunteering with the ‘Yes’ campaign in both the 2017 and 2023 referendums. This involvement has been fueled by my belief that we can live in a world built on fairness, compassion, and understanding.
I want to be part of that change, which is why I am running as the Greens candidate for Terrigal.
