Thanks to your support, I have represented our bold and brilliant movement in the NSW Parliament for just under four years, and it has been the best and most challenging work that I’ve ever done. I am asking for your number 1 vote so I can keep doing the work and building the movement. There is so much to do.
I’ve been with so many of you on the frontline of our fights for social and environmental justice. I show up, it’s what I do, I’ve been doing it my whole life - as a forest activist locking on to bulldozers, as a public interest lawyer in the courts challenging fossil fuel giants, dodgy government decisions and the big end of town, as well as defending climate and environmental warriors, and as a farmer, a mother and grandmother working and living in our climate-ravaged Lismore region.
As your Greens MP I have fought hard and secured meaningful wins for our movement. We made Labor’s climate targets more ambitious and enforceable, stopped logging in the forests of the long-promised Great Koala National Park, worked with First Nations advocates against the tsunami of Labor’s tough on crime agenda. I have worked around the clock with lawyers and advocates in the Courts to strike down Labor’s draconian anti-protest laws and make way for our incredible 300 thousand-strong Harbour Bridge March for Humanity against genocide. This is our power, when we work together.
I’m a campaigner, action for justice is in my veins, I know how to disrupt powerful, dangerous agendas, speak truth to power, platform voices and issues, mobilise hope and get front page attention to injustice.
This is the election we must grow our vote. In the midst of record inequality, rising rents, underpaid workers, and out-of-control cost of living - I want to be the strong voice of our big bold hope filled vision, because not only do I believe in a better world, I can see how we get it.
Gina Reinhart, Pauline Hanson, and Advance will spend millions to try to stop our movement. I know how to fight back against hate fuelled right-wing corporate interests.
With your number 1 vote, I’ll take down the haters and shine us on through the 2027 election. With Labor’s capitulation to the right, now is the time to be more bold than ever before, together we will end native forest logging and arrest the extinction crisis, keep coal and gas in the ground, make our economy work for every day people, center First Nations Justice, keep kids out of prisons all while defending our right to protest.
