Wendy Wales is a retired science teacher and campaigner for the environment. She studied Biology, in WA and Education and a Master of Environmental Education in NSW. She spent most of her teaching career at Muswellbrook HS. Wendy has worked in hospitality, adult education, as an interpretive biologist and inecotourism. She has sailed some of the world’s oceans and seas.
She has co-founded bush walking groups at Hawks Nest and the Upper Hunter, social networks, including “Green Drinks”, Denman Aberdeen/Muswellbrook Scone Healthy Environment Group Inc, writes submissions opposing the new and expanded coal and gas projects and facilitates community action for the environment.
This is the first time Wendy has been a candidate.
