I’m running in the next state election because everyone deserves to have their basic needs met without having to pay an arm and a leg.
My family has been part of the Kogarah community for over 40 years, and I’m proud to continue being part of this warm, diverse community. As a single mother of two teenagers, and a Quality and Compliance Consultant in the care industry with a Master of Health Services Management, majoring in Quality and Safety, I’m committed to delivering the quality of life we all deserve.
Everyone should have access to quality housing, holistic healthcare including allied, dental and mental health services, equitable education, and the ability to exercise their democratic rights.
NSW is Australia’s wealthiest state, yet we continue to fall behind. Public transport remains too expensive, healthcare is increasingly fragmented through privatisation, families are asked to pay additional fees at public schools, and renters face repeated rent increases with little opportunity to buy a home.
While many people work multiple jobs just to keep up, billion-dollar corporations aren’t paying their fair share.
Labor, One Nation and Liberal continue to support the privatisation of public services, including transport, healthcare and housing, while Labor has also pursued policies that threaten our civil liberties and human rights.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
By ensuring the wealthiest 1% pay their fair share, we can invest in free public transport, free mental and dental healthcare, genuinely free education including tertiary education, better wages for essential workers such as educators and nurses, rent caps and affordable housing, while protecting nature and addressing the extinction crisis.
When elected, I will advocate for our collective values in NSW Parliament and fight for practical solutions that put people, communities and our environment first.
