JUSTICE FOR PALESTINIANS - SANCTION ISRAEL
From 1948 Palestinians have been subject to war crimes and dispossession by Israel. Since October 7, 2023, Palestinians in Gaza have been subjected to genocide while Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem have experienced intensified violence by Israeli soldiers and settlers, and the establishment of more illegal settlements.
Israel has been given impunity by the West since 1948, and this impunity has led to the industrial-scale atrocities and genocide against 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza by Israel.
The UN has called on Israel and all States to take immediate action and fulfil their legal obligations to end the genocide and punish those responsible for it.
The Greens NSW call for:
• the total withdrawal of Israeli troops from the Gaza Strip, West Bank, East Jerusalem, Lebanon and Syria
• full access for emergency aid and medical supplies under UN coordination
• the release of all Palestinian and Israeli captives
• targeted sanctions, boycotts and divestments on Israel and all complicit companies
• an end to all military and intelligence collaboration and an arms embargo on Israel
• a substantial increase and permanent visa pathways for Palestinian refugees
• the establishment of a war crimes investigation unit
