Vanessa is a seasoned environmental lawyer and passionate advocate dedicated to protecting Tasmania’s unique natural environment.
With over 20 years of experience, Vanessa has spent her career fighting for better outcomes for both the community and the ecosystem. She runs her own law practice, with offices in Launceston and Melbourne, specialising in environmental, migration, wills, and commercial law.
Her commitment to environmental protection began at age 10, when she wrote a poem about the endangered Tasmanian wedge-tailed eagle. Since then, Vanessa has been driven by the goal of improving society through law and politics. She moved to Tasmania in 2010 to help stop the proposed Tamar Valley pulp mill and has been fully dedicated to Tasmanian campaigns ever since.
Vanessa is ready to move her deep expertise and passion for change from the Courtroom to Canberra, fighting for the future of Tasmania’s environment and its communities.
