Statement on the Nick Xenophon Political Party’s big business tax cuts;
"Billions of dollars that should have gone to our schools and hospitals in South Australia have just been funnelled straight into the pockets of big business, thanks to Nick Xenophon," South Australian Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young said.
"He screwed over regular South Australians tonight, and for what? A bunch of reviews and studies.
"Our state can't run on empty promises and dirty deals Nick.
"A call for tender, on a possible loan, for a potential project at some point in the future is a long way away from the grant funding and long term purchase agreements that are required to make a solar thermal power plant in Port Augusta a reality.
"This is a bitterly disappointing day for South Australia."
