Your vote can get dental into Medicare.

Medicare Card with "plus Dental" included

If you’ve been putting off going to the dentist or psychologist, or struggling to find a GP you can afford, you’re not alone.

Right now, millions of people simply can’t afford it. We can’t keep voting for the same Liberal and Labor parties and expecting different results.

This election, we have a chance to change that.

There will be a minority government this election – and the Greens are within reach of winning new seats across the country.

Last time there was a minority government, the Greens secured dental into Medicare for kids.

Now this is our chance to deliver it for everyone.

If you want change, the first step is to vote for it. This time, Vote 1 Greens.

Our plan to extend Medicare & fix the health crisis

In a wealthy country like Australia, we should have world-class, accessible health services.

No one should have to choose between food on the table, paying rent, and seeing a doctor when they need it. Public healthcare shouldn’t stop at your neck: it should include dental and mental health.

The only way to fix the system is to vote for a party that will fight for it.

This election, the Greens are within reach of winning new seats across the country. In the balance of power, we will use our power to fight to:

  1. Cover dental health under Medicare, so you can see a dentist without the massive bill.
  2. Ensure you can see the GP for free.
  3. Make mental healthcare free by removing the cap on subsidised sessions.
  4. Build 1,000 new public healthcare clinics where you can see a GP, dentist, nurse, or psychologist at no cost.
  5. Ensure fair pay for GP trainees so more doctors choose general practice.

Right now, 1-in-3 big corporations pay no tax, while our services are underfunded. We’d tax big corporations to fund the healthcare that everyone needs.
