Hi, I'm Danielle Every
I’m proud to be your Greens candidate for Ngadjuri. I'm running to deliver accessible healthcare including mental health and dental, secure regional jobs through climate action, and to get big money out of politics so our communities come first.
I’m standing for Ngadjuri because I grew up in a rural community and understand both the strength and the strain regional areas carry. This electorate sits on the lands of the Ngadjuri people, whose deep connection to Country reminds us that caring for land and community must go hand in hand.
Ngadjuri is built on strong agricultural industries, small businesses and community networks. But climate change, rising costs and workforce shortages are putting increasing pressure on all of us. We need practical solutions shaped by local voices, including women, young people, migrants and First Nations communities.
Most of my working life has been as a teacher and researcher in tertiary education. I’ve worked alongside communities to build collective wellbeing, respond to climate change, and strengthen support for vulnerable people. I bring experience in listening carefully, working across differences, and developing practical, evidence-based solutions.
I’m running because the major parties continue to put corporate profits ahead of people. Divisive politics weaken rural communities - they don’t strengthen them. Ngadjuri thrives when we work together. As a Greens candidate, I will fight for affordable healthcare, climate action that creates local jobs, and integrity in politics so our region can face the future with fairness, resilience and hope.
