Hi, I’m David Wright
I’m honoured to be your Greens candidate for Playford. I have lived in the North Eastern suburbs for the last 30 years. I’m running because I want to see action on key issues such as climate change and housing. I want to see a fair deal for all Australians while maintaining the environment for future generations.
I believe that all Australians have a right to education, jobs, housing and health services. The Greens will prioritise those things ahead of maximising corporate profits. I also believe we need to address climate change by moving to renewable energy, and that it should be done while minimising the impact to people’s jobs and cost of living.
My wife and I migrated from the UK 30 years ago. I have worked my whole life as an engineer and currently work as a systems engineer in the aerospace industry.
Politics should be about what’s best for the people, now and for future generations. The two major parties are too keen to support their corporate donors. I would like to represent you and put your interests front and centre.
