Hi, I'm Luke Skinner
I'm running in this election because Ramsay deserves a representative who will fight for integrity, fairness and equity in our society.
I have a deep connection with this area. I was born at the Lyell McEwin Hospital and raised in Brahma Lodge. I've worked in and advocated for our community for years, putting Salisbury and the surrounding areas on the radar of our politicians, and fighting to give our neighbourhood a voice in the decisions that affect us. I vow to keep those I stand to represent at the forefront of everything I do. Whether it’s protecting our environment, defending access to education and healthcare, or holding politicians accountable.
I've volunteered with grassroots organisations like the Anti-Poverty Network since before I could even vote, working to shine a light on the struggles we face and prove that there is a better way.
It's time for action. It's safe to say that we're all tired of consecutive governments putting their corporate donors above the needs of our community. I'm here to offer something different: a representative who is accountable to this community, not to big money. I will fight for real action on the cost of living, strong climate leadership, and a fair go for everyone
