Hi, I’m Ruby Dolling
I’m standing for Croydon because this community deserves representation that reflects its diversity and understands its real challenges. I support strong Greens solutions, including public housing expansion, fair rent controls, affordable public transport and better wages, while advocating for deeper systemic change to ensure the working class can truly thrive.
Since moving to Brompton in 2022, I’ve been actively involved locally and have seen both the strengths of this electorate and where change is urgently needed.
I bring lived experience as a queer, neurodiverse young person, alongside practical political experience through the SA Student Representative Council, Youth Parliament, and leadership roles at Woodville High School. These experiences mean I can clearly articulate Greens policies and, importantly, ground them in the realities facing young people, workers and families.
I’m running because too many voices – particularly young people and public school students – are missing from Parliament. I understand firsthand the pressures on public education, housing, renting, cost of living and transport. I believe I’m a stronger choice than the alternatives because I listen, I represent lived reality, and I’m committed to inclusive, people-powered politics that puts Croydon first.
