Hi, I'm Sam Tyler
I'm running because our region deserves better planning, climate action, and the public transport and services our growing community needs.
I've lived in Nairne for the last four years. Kavel needs representation that will fight for sustainable development, genuine climate preparedness, and essential services that keep pace with our community's growth.
Our region has seen significant population growth in recent years, yet many residents feel they don't have a real say as developments reshape their neighbourhoods. We need town planning that genuinely involves the community, ensuring development works for the people who live here, not just those profiting from it.
The Adelaide Hills region is particularly vulnerable to bushfires, and we need serious action to address this risk. That means real investment in fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and a genuine transition to renewable energy that reduces the catastrophic fire conditions we've already experienced.
The major parties continue to promise change, but not deliver enough of it. Real, working people's living conditions are changing for the worse. I will stand up and be a voice for the community and work to make real change.
