Grassroots Organising Fellowship

Closing Date

Friday 19 July 2024 - 11:59 pm

What is the Fellowship?

The Fellowship is a program for developing leaders in Victoria who want to run campaigns and win.

It is for people active in their communities who are looking to build the knowledge, relationships, skills, and confidence to win issue-based and electoral campaigns.

The Victorian Greens Grassroots Organising Fellowship will bring together young people across Victoria to grow powerful movements through:

  • Connecting with like minded young people to grow solidarity between groups facing injustice.
  • Learning about activism, organising, political participation and systems, and creating lasting change.
  • Creating change with local communities by taking collective action such as creating resources or running community events.

Why apply?

The Victorian Greens will support individuals and groups until January 2025 with workshops, tailored support, space for building connections and resources to create collective change in their community.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn from some of Australia’s leading campaigners and organisers, connect with like-minded community members, and get to know some of your Vic Greens MPs and Senators.

We are especially interested in working with young people aged 18–35 with diverse lived experiences of systemic injustice, including First Nations people, migrants and refugees of colour, people with a disability, LGBTQIA+ people, young workers, and folks who come from low-income backgrounds.
