Victoria's five Regional Forest Agreements

MS DUNN — To ask the Special Minister for State (for the Minister for the Environment, Climate Change and Water): In relation to the five-yearly reviews of each of Victoria's five Regional Forest Agreements —

(1)    Has agreement been reached with the Commonwealth Government in relation to the process, structure, methodology, time-frames, public consultation process, key personnel and outcomes of the conduct of each of the reviews.

(2)    If so, what is the agreed process, structure, methodology, time-frames, public consultation process, key personnel and outcomes of the conduct of each of the reviews.

I am informed that:

Negotiations with the Australian Government on the five-yearly review of the five Victorian Regional Forests Agreements are ongoing.

I expect to have a scoping agreement settled with the Commonwealth later this year so the review can get underway.
