Hi, I'm Emi
I'm a young queer person and a high school mathematics teacher living in Wyndham and working at a local public school. I love living in this diverse, vibrant community. We have so many opportunities to make Wyndham a place where people can connect, socialise and thrive.
As a teacher and community advocate, I want to see teaching become a sustainable and effective profession, for children to thrive at school and for every building and space in our community to be accessible to everyone.
We need to give our community better roads and more accessible community spaces like theatres and libraries. I will advocate for high-quality public transport to address traffic congestion. Our community is struggling with the housing and cost of living crises. Council has a key role to play by investing in public services and building public housing.
We need a fresh, progressive voice on council that will listen to the community, not property developers.
