Hi, I'm Jill
So much of my life has been spent as a member of the Alphington community. It was home for our four kids - who grew up in a friendly neighbourhood, attending Alphington Primary, playing sport and wandering the parklands. I know what a special corner of the world it is.
Yarra Bend locals deserve a representative who will listen to them and who understands the strong bonds that exist in the community. I have extensive experience in state and local government, am committed to collaboration and teamwork and think I am well placed to serve Yarra Bend effectively and with empathy.
As a councillor, I will make sure we protect our amazing green spaces, promote sustainability, create safer streets and tackle the cost of living. With our community’s support, we can elect a majority on Yarra council and put people at the forefront of our decision-making. I want to seek great outcomes for treasured places - like the Alphington Bowls Club, the Yambla Pavillion and the precious wetlands.
