Hi, I'm Polly Morgan. I work in IT and have lived in City of Stonnington for more than 15 years.
I am a Stonnington local and Greens endorsed councillor. I believe that, particularly at this difficult time, we need genuine consultation with and accountability to residents. The solutions we need lie within our community, and we need a council who will first listen and then act in the best interests of all of us.
I live in East Ward and grew up here; and I love living in our diverse and vibrant community with its rich history and heritage. As an IT professional, I understand the way technology interacts with community, skills I'd love to bring to council.
I support inclusion for all residents, particularly for people with disabilities and the elderly, as well as greater action on climate change. As your councillor, I'll oppose poor planning decisions and, like all Greens, I won’t take donations from property developers. We need to put people first, by supporting council services aligned to community need, and by promoting sustainable, innovative businesses in Stonnington to ensure we take stronger action on climate change and protect local jobs.
