Hi, I'm polly
I’ve been a Stonnington councillor since 2020 representing a ward that covers Glen Iris and most of Malvern. I work as an IT professional for a leading global software company, and I live in Malvern and grew up in Glen Iris.
As your councillor, I’ve supported:
- Stonnington’s first Climate Emergency Action Plan, including reducing Council’s emissions by 78% below 2005 levels
- Building the Stonnington Sports Centre, including 4 indoor netball and basketball courts
- New pocket parks, including the purchase of land for a future park in Glen Iris
- the creation of new all-abilities regional playgrounds at Sir Zelman Cowen Park and Central Park
- upgrades to the Harold Holt Swim Centre including the long-awaited return of diving
I’m seeking your support to continue to work for an innovative, sustainable Stonnington that plans for the future while protecting our beautiful parks and character-filled neighbourhoods.
If re-elected, my priorities will be to:
- Lead smart planning decisions that create a greener, more liveable city with sustainable and diverse housing, including genuinely affordable housing while continuing to protect our heritage precincts
- Prioritise disability access and inclusion improvements for all residents as part of any new or renewed infrastructure projects
- Continue to progress Council’s Climate Emergency Action Plan and Waste Strategy to tackle the climate emergency
I will act with integrity and make decisions in the best interests of our whole municipality and for the public good.
