Hi, I'm sue.

As a current Glen Eira councillor, I am excited to be running for a second term to continue to work to make Glen Eira more sustainable for the community and the environment.

Social justice and our environment have driven my involvement in public life. If re-elected, I will continue to push for zero emissions in Council operations and to reduce our community emissions and continue to advocate for high quality services for people of all ages, needs and abilities.

To tackle the climate crisis in local areas, we need to continue to reduce carbon emissions and also improve active and public transport, invest in a circular economy, and work seriously to improve our tree canopy and biodiversity.

Over the past two years, I have enjoyed serving the people of Glen Eira - working hard to protect our natural environment, local neighbourhoods and heritage while advocating for more affordable and sustainable housing. To achieve the best social and environmental outcomes, we need to listen to and work with the community and with our neighbouring councils and other levels of government.
