Fares Should be Fair

FARES SHOULD BE FAIR

Sign the petition to make travel free for students and seniors in Canberra.

By signing this, you will also hear from us about our transport and planning campaigns from time to time

When life costs more, getting to where you need to go shouldn’t. Let’s make public transport free for those who need it most.

Across Australia, the cost of living keeps climbing - groceries, rent, bills - everything’s going up except people’s pay. For many, even getting from A to B has become a struggle.

That’s why the Greens believe public transport should be free and accessible for those doing it tough, students, seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income earners.

Free public transport isn’t just about saving money, it’s about connection, opportunity, and dignity. Getting where you need to go shouldn’t depend on what’s in your wallet.

Sign the petition to make public transport free and accessible for all.
