The ACT Greens will put the community first by investing in sporting facilities, grassroots sporting events and sports promotion to keep Canberrans healthy and active.
“Sport encourages people to lead active and healthy lives as well as fostering a sense of community,” said ACT Greens spokesperson for recreation and sports, Shane Rattenbury.
“The Greens want to ensure that every Canberran can participate in community sports. That’s why we will provide $30,000 per annum in sporting fee and costs subsidies for low-income families.
