Join the fight to stop new gas projects in Victoria

Update: 1176 signatures and counting!

Right now, Labor is considering a proposal for a new gas terminal in Corio Bay near Geelong. This development would put our climate, environment and communities at risk. If approved, this gas import terminal will also stop Victoria from meeting it's emissions reduction targets.

We can't let this happen.

The Viva Energy gas terminal will import fracked gas from other states and create a huge amount of emissions. At a time when the climate crisis is more urgent than ever, Labor should not be approving new gas and fossil fuel projects.

The local community and environment organisations, and the Greens, have been fighting this project tooth and nail for months. Now we need your help.

Sign the petition to demand that the Labor Victorian Government reject the proposal for a gas terminal in Corio Bay and stop all new gas in Victoria.
