About this role
We’re looking for someone to join us as a campaign coordinator to support Greens campaigns in the lead-up to the 2026 Victorian State Election. You’ll help run the core operations of a state-wide grassroots campaign, supporting major print runs, coordinating campaign logistics, and making sure volunteers, campaigners and candidates have what they need to do their best work.
In this role, you’ll deliver training, induct new candidates, manage campaign timelines and produce high-quality materials. You’ll use your strengths in project management, stakeholder relationships and event coordination to keep our distributed campaign network running smoothly. Your calm under pressure and attention to detail will help ensure the Victorian Greens are well-organised and ready to win.
The Victorian Greens strongly encourage people with diverse lived experience to apply, such as First Nations People, people of colour, LGBTQIA+ folks, disabled people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, even if you feel your professional experience doesn’t match all of the selection criteria. The Greens recognise that structural barriers make it difficult for some people to obtain roles in the progressive movement. When assessing candidates we look at more than just the jobs you’ve been paid to do but the range of ways you’ve picked up skills and knowledge throughout your life.
Position description
In this role you will::
- Project manage campaign operations: Project manage the creation of print materials, web pages, social media assets and more.
- Manage campaign relationships: Support our volunteers, campaign teams and candidates using scalable systems for campaign management, resourcing and tactics.
- Support training and leadership programs: Support training sessions, fellowship programs, and major training events, to build the capacity of our volunteers, campaigners and candidates.

- Other work as needed: as a part of a small, agile team, you will be asked to contribute to other work from time-to-time, always with the support of experienced staff

We encourage you to apply even if you don’t have all of the relevant skills. We’re looking for someone organised and thorough and with passion for our movement, which we prioritise over formal education or qualifications.

- Outcomes-driven: Demonstrated experience in solving problems, meeting goals and achieving results under time pressure.
- Attention to detail: Detail oriented, you will be able to pick up mistakes; whether it is an incorrect delivery address, a missing form, or a Greens policy to be considered.
