ABOUT THESE ROLES
The Victorian Greens are taking expressions of interest for multiple election campaign roles. The upcoming Victorian State Election will be held on Saturday November 28th, and with a small change in the vote, the Greens could re-elect our existing MPs and win new lower house seats and seize balance of power in the state parliament.
The Victorian Greens are a political party based on four key principles: ecological sustainability, grassroots democracy, social justice and peace and non-violence. Our movement is focused on delivering the plans we need to ensure that everyone has a good life. We're committed to ensuring that all people are treated equally, that our environment is protected, and that big donors can no longer buy the influence of politicians and governments.
We are looking for multiple roles to lead our grassroots campaigns in the electorates of Melbourne, Richmond, Brunswick and more, they include:
- Campaign Managers
- Lead Organisers
In these roles you'll either be working with our MPs, Ellen Sandell or Gabrielle de Vietri to build a powerful movement to re-elect them, or with a candidate in a target seat looking to expand the Greens presence in parliament.
Across all campaigns, our movement is proudly people powered. You'll be working with people from all walks of life and bringing together our multi-faith, multicultural and proudly diverse community. As a leader in our campaigns, you'll be working with volunteers and talking to voters, helping to set and uphold our inclusive culture.
The position descriptions for each role is attached, please apply through the form below to submit your expression of interest, detailing the role you're interested in and any preference of electorate if you have one. If the electorate you're most interested in is not on the list, please submit at EOI anyway as future roles will soon be advertised.
