With the Victorian government refusing to hand over the independent assessments of the Western Distributor toll road proposal to Infrastructure Australia and the federal government, the Greens have called on the Premier Andrews to end the secrecy.
“The Western Distributor is a thought bubble that Transurban sold to Premier Andrews so they could keep profiting no matter what,” said the Australian Greens transport and infrastructure spokesperson Senator Janet Rice.
“There are independent assessments of the toll road’s business case sitting in the government’s bottom drawer.
“Labor must release the independent assessments and stop the secrecy shrouding this new toll road.”
