Greens transport spokesperson Samantha Dunn has urged the government to urgently bring forward regulations to make ride-sharing services like Uber safer.
“Uber is here to stay but there are no protections for drivers or users of ride-sharing services,” Samantha Dunn said.
“The Government needs to stop wasting time and introduce regulations,” she said.
“The ACT Greens-Labor Government led the way on this issue and other states have since introduced regulations. There is no excuse for the process to be taking so long in Victoria,” she said.
