Victorian Greens leader Greg Barber says the Western Australia election should be a warning to Victorian Liberals considering a preference deal with Pauline Hanson's One Nation.
"Hanson's vote in the Western Australian upper house has roughly doubled since the federal election last year. If we see a similar vote in Victoria, she might win one upper house seat in our parliament, but only if the Liberals preference her," Greg Barber said.
"The WA Liberals copped a caning for preferencing Hanson and Matt Guy will be reviled by his own voters if he tries the same trick.
"It's time all parties pledged to put Pauline Hanson last, to keep her toxic, hate filled politics out of the Victorian parliament," he said.
