MR BARBER (Northern Metropolitan) — On behalf of my Greens colleagues I echo the thanks that have been passed on tonight. As Ms Wooldridge said, the committee stage of a bill is one of the most important and enlightening functions that we do here. It does not move as fast as some of the other parts of the parliamentary day, but it is important. I am sure Ms Tierney has also been of great assistance to you, President, in other roles outside the chamber that perhaps we have not observed here.
