MS DUNN — To ask the Special Minister for State (for the Minister for the Environment, Climate
Change and Water): In relation to the current prescribed 200m buffer zone to protect known colonies of
the Leadbeater’s Possum —
(1) Is there any scientific evidence to suggest that the buffer zone is sufficient.
(2) What is that evidence.

The 200m buffer zone was a recommendation of the Leadbeater’s Possum Advisory Group.
