MS DUNN: To ask the Minister for Agriculture (for the Minister for Public Transport): In relation to the Victorian Auditor General Office report on Tendering of Metropolitan Bus Contract and the recommendations in relation to Public Transport Victoria's lack of adequate bus performance monitoring: (1) what is the status of the recommendations; (2) how many of the recommendations have been partially or fully implemented and which ones are they; (3) for those recommendations that have been partially implemented, what current work has been undertaken; (4) for any recommendations, which have not been implemented, do you have future plans to implement these recommendations and how; and (5) for any recommendations, which have not been implemented, what is the reason that they have not been implemented? ANSWER: I am informed that, as at the date the question was raised: PTV has accepted recommendations of the Auditor General and will continue to make further improvements to this important contract and the bus industry generally. Bus services are a core part of the public transport network. Improvements to this network are essential and we work with all operators to continuously improve the customer experience. Question # 4877
