Hi, I'm Amy

My name is Amy Mills, and I’m a dietitian, disability support worker, and renter living with a disability. I’m driven by a commitment to building accessible, connected communities and tackling the climate and cost-of-living crises head-on.

With lived experience of housing insecurity, living below the poverty line, and navigating life with a disability, I bring empathy, compassion, and a deep understanding of the struggles our community faces. I believe in evidence-based policies that prioritize people and the planet. From rent caps and affordable housing to tackling supermarket price gouging and ensuring free, accessible healthcare, I’m committed to creating a fairer future.

I will work to stop new coal, gas, and nuclear projects that threaten our environment and future generations. My leadership is built on integrity, kindness, and collaboration to deliver meaningful change for Deakin. If you want change, you have to vote for it - Vote 1 Greens.
