Hi, I'm Joey
Having made my home in Geelong, I have a deep love of its environment and community. As an award-winning early childhood educator and enthusiastic community volunteer, I am passionate about addressing domestic violence and creating opportunities for young people. I want to see the council advocate for the issues affecting Geelong residents - housing, climate change and transport.
I have previously served as a Local Councillor in NSW and was the Vice Chair of Youth in Motion, a not-for-profit organisation delivering free tuition to disadvantaged young people. I understand the needs of our community and am committed to improving green spaces, housing affordability and renter’s rights
We have an opportunity to make Hamlyn Heights a greener, more inclusive place, bring integrity back to the council and make sure that our young people and future generations are able to live, grow and thrive here.
