Hi, I'm Kate.

I’m a mother, staunch unionist, registered nurse and community advocate. 

I want to stand up and take responsibility in ensuring our community thrives.

Our local area deserves a representative who will listen to them, rather than corporations and property developers. I’m deeply embedded in the community and refuse to take corporate donations. I'm connected through school, kindergarten, sporting clubs, scouts, attendance at local events.

I want to see the council step up and look after our community, including establishing a council supported food pantry,  Sustainable and human scale housing development that preserves the character of Nillumbik, Supporting the biodiversity of the area by protecting our local flora and fauna, improving recycling to match that of other councils and improving toilets and amenities across the shire.

As your councillor, I will be friendly, approachable, keen to listen and open to feedback. I will fight for you.
