Hi, I'm Katherine Copsey
I’m a long-time and passionate resident of Melbourne’s Southern Metropolitan region, and an advocate for environmental, social and economic justice. As a Greens councillor for the city of Port Phillip since 2016, I know how important it is for our community and local environment to have strong representation in government.
Climate action and care for people are at the centre of a fair society. We need to protect our beautiful and fragile natural environments like the foreshore and parklands, and have a plan for 100% renewable energy and no new gas drilling. Renters across our region deserve a better deal, and with your support, The Greens will push for a housing system that means everyone can access a stable and secure place to call home.
We will continue to hold the government to account, and stand up for people and the environment.
