I'm putting my hand up for Niddrie because I see life growing harder for the people in my community. Everyday essentials like bread, milk, and eggs keep getting more expensive while supermarkets make billions in profits. Quality healthcare, aged care and education is becoming harder to access. People are working more just to get by, leaving them with less time for the people they love.
My family raised me to believe in looking after one another, working hard, and giving back to those around us. Recently, supporting my dad through cancer has made the importance of accessible health care deeply personal to me.
In my work, I coordinate community-based events that center local voices. I've seen firsthand the power of bringing people together to connect, share ideas and respond collectively to issues facing us.
I believe we can build a fairer system, one that puts people first. As your representative, I will listen, work hard and fight for the changes we need.
