Hi, I'm lucy

I'm a second-generation Vietnamese immigrant, Brimbank local and a woman with lived experience as a domestic violence survivor. 

Our local area deserves a representative who will listen to them, rather than corporations and property developers. I’m a dedicated resident of Brimbank and my lived experience makes me fiercely committed to working closely and directly with our multicultural, working-class community and empowering them.

I spent my early childhood in-between women’s shelters and public housing due to family violence. I have spent most of my adult life working in customer service paycheck to paycheck and experiencing housing stress. 

I will bring to council my experience fighting for constituents who have been forgotten by the major parties, my VICSES volunteer experience responding to severe weather events and 3 years of leadership experience. 

As your councillor for Kororoit Creek ward, I will fight for a thriving local community. I will advocate to tackle the cost of living crisis, support genuinely affordable housing, grow active and green neighbourhoods and encourage multiculturalism and cultural solidarity.
