Hi, I'm Metin
I’m a proud local of Merri-bek, who has lived in Melbourne’s northern suburbs my entire life. Like many of you, I’ve experienced the consequences that political neglect can have on our community, across generations.
As the son of a teacher, I value the power of education and its role in uplifting communities. That’s why I advocate for enhanced educational quality and opportunities for students.
A government investments and project manager, I plan to use my experience to tackle our community’s urgent issues: the cost of living crisis, clean and safe streets, rising homelessness, and the need for more investment into local roads, footpaths, parks and facilities. Our community deserves substantial investment and real progress.
The Greens are the only party advocating for the long-term solutions. Join me in creating a Merri-bek where everyone thrives and no one is left behind.
