I am a local community organiser, environment and social justice advocate, who is passionate about creating a better future for us all through fighting for climate protection,, affordable housing and real cost of living measures. On the Bellarine, we share concerns of the future - from the impacts of climate change on our beautiful country to the pain of unaffordable housing and rising inequality.
We are fed up with the status quo upheld by major corporate parties, and are ready for a candidate who doesn’t take corporate donations. We are in a cost of living crisis and inequality is rising, meanwhile big corporations continue to rake in record profits. I will advocate to tax the big corporations (banks and casinos) to fund universal public services, and ban corporate donations to political parties to reduce corruptive influences on our democracy.
