Hi, I'm Natasha Abrahams
As an Oakleigh resident, and science policy professional, I’m dedicated to championing climate action on council. I am currently serving on Monash Council’s Environmental Advisory Committee and I’m running for council to ensure Monash Council is on track for carbon neutrality by 2025.
With Oakleigh poised for substantial population growth, it’s vital that we proactively plan in a way that prioritises sustainability and equal access to everything our city has to offer. Drawing on my expertise in climate and energy policy, I want to empower and provide the resources for all residents to be part of the green transition - regardless of whether you rent or own, or live in a house or apartment.
We need to ensure fair access to sustainable technologies for renters and families, improve the availability of green spaces, and support availability of affordable housing as Oakleigh grows.
