Hi I'm Peter,

As a longtime Banyule local and father, who has lived in the area for over 35 years, I am committed to making Banyule an even better place to live. 

For the past eight years I have served our community as a two-term councillor, and Banyule City Mayor,  where I have prioritised community engagement, transparency and integrity on our council. 

I am passionate about our natural environment and taking strong action on climate change. I’ll push council to take the lead on local climate action, protecting our local ecosystems and increasing biodiversity.   

For our community to thrive we need to make sure that everyone has an affordable and secure place to call home – for every stage of our lives. I’ll be pushing for housing developments that are sustainable, climate-appropriate and support our growing and diverse community.

I believe strongly in working together as a community to make sure that everyone feels welcomed and respected and has the opportunity to shape the future of our local area.
