Hi, I'm Sally

I’m a local artist, known as Lady Mohawk, and a dedicated Footscray and West Footscray resident for over a decade. My diverse life experiences, including single parenthood and family violence, have fueled my passion for our vibrant community. 

With a background in health, law enforcement, and family violence investigations, I've cultivated a broad perspective and deep understanding of local issues.

My commitment to inclusivity, empathy, and prioritising community needs is rooted in my personal journey. I fearlessly confront difficult conversations and advocate fiercely for collective rights, driven by my profound connection to my electorate and a desire to effect positive change. 

As your councillor for Burndap ward, I will fight for a thriving community by advocating for active, green neighbourhoods, a flourishing arts scene, and multicultural solidarity. 

Together, we can create a more inclusive and supportive community for all.
