Tim Drylie is your Greens councillor for Hepburn Shire Creswick ward.
He is a committed and experienced community leader who grew up in Western Victoria and currently lives in Creswick. His professional experience ranges from working as an assistant director for television, tutoring at the University of Melbourne, and running a successful second-hand furniture store in Montmorency. Cr Drylie is a member of the Transition Creswick sustainability group, the Creswick Theatre Company, and the Z-NET roundtable committee. He is also the lead vocalist of the Creswick Brass Band.
Cr Drylie represents council in the following areas:
- Committee of Management for DELWP, the
- Grampians Central West Waste and Resource Recovery Group Forum
- Public Art Advisory Committee.
He was elected Mayor for the 2021-22 term. He is committed to actively considering diverse community interests, acting with integrity, and providing strong civic leadership in his role as a local councillor. Tim’s priorities as councillor include real action on climate change, affordable housing, better town planning, local food production, and community wellbeing. Cr Drylie is an inclusive advocate for a range of issues, including youth engagement and the rights of First Nations People and ensuring a diverse range of community interests are represented
