Hi I'm Vanessa
I’m a Warrandyte local, who loves the people in my community and the beautiful Wurundjeri land we share. I know the issues facing my community are those which many Victorians and Australians are facing - a forever warming climate, the cost of living crisis, increasing mental health concerns, the rise of AI and a yearning for more connectedness to one another. We need change and we want action fast.
People are tired of passive politicians and self-concerned greed. I'm running because our leaders are not taking enough courageous risks and we're in dire need for inspirational leadership and bold action. Voting for the Greens means voting for the wellbeing of our diverse community as a whole.
I really look forward to finding out what people need and what are the things that bring people together and make our community stronger and strengthen our communities relationship to the Birrarung river and bushland around us. I'm the kind of representative who will be on the ground listening to people and working to get things done.
