It's 2025 - and there are 2 elections coming up! State on Saturday, 8th March and federal before mid May. This means we’re running two massive campaigns to re-elect Senator Jordon Steele-John in the Senate and reelect Brad Pettitt MLC.
We're also on the cusp of electing Sophie Greer as the first Federal WA Greens member in the lower house, and electing up to another 5 Upper House MPs in the State election! These are ambitious goals, and to achieve them, we'll need your help.
As a grassroots organisation, it is not possible for us to secure commercial loans to cover the cost of running the big campaigns that we do. So we seek these loans from individual members and supporters from our Greens movement. When we say we’re grassroots, we really mean it!
Here’s what you need to know:
- All loans must be a minimum of $1,000;
- All loans will be repaid within 4 weeks of The Greens (WA) receiving election returns from the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC). These returns are typically paid to the Party 8 weeks after election day; and
- Lenders will have the option of being repaid as principle, or as principal plus interest of 4.35%pa.

Note: The Greens (WA) 2025 loan program will run until election day, unless our loans target has been reached. Loans are subject to ethics review by the Greens (WA), and loans of $1,500 and above will be disclosed to the Australian Electoral Commission.
