“An Evening of Conversation and Film”.

Doors open at 6.00pm, Welcome to Country at 6:30pm.

Tickets $10.00.

Event details can be found  on the Facebook event page https://www.facebook.com/events/1169112833103520/ .

The purpose of the evening is to acknowledge, reflect, and celebrate Indigenous culture through the medium of film and music.

Guided by themes of hope, inspiration, resilience, and community, the evening also seeks to raise awareness about Amnesty International's ”Community Is Everything” campaign.

Launched in June 2015, the five-year campaign aims to advocate to government why supporting Indigenous community-led initiatives is the solution to the over-representation of Indigenous youth in the justice system.

Finally, the evening serves to introduce the community to the Indigenous Rights Group's grassroots activism and advocacy work in support of “Community Is Everything”.
