Change the date

 I just spoke for the first time in the senate - it was on a disallowance motion. That means that we attempted to stop the coalition punishing local governments for listening to their communities and voting to change the date of their Australia Day celebrations. While the federal government is failing us, local governments like the City of Fremantle are showing real leadership. #changethedate
